Akufo-Addo under its microscope.
My World
Controversy is what I enjoy most! Sounds crazy huh? But it gives me the pleasure to articulate my unsolicited views. No wonder I follow controversial celebrities on social media all the time just to bring you that, and the ‘useless’ aspect of their lives.

By Stephen Kwabena Effah
It’s not a cock and bull story! It’s an open
intimate issue that not only irk but also offends my sense. Until last Friday,
I thought the level of conservatism in Africa was high, especially when it
comes to issues of sex.
I was wrong! Africans now appear to be
living in a contemporary world. They now feel liberated, and are exploring
their sexuality more than ever before. The era where sex was surrounded with
myth is over.

"Branch Here? " - Welcome to Ghana's World !
By
Stephen Kwabena Effah
Ghenglish is what I call it. Yes! Ghenglish,
the Ghanaian version of the Queen’s English language.
To any foreigner, it may sound outlandish and
difficult to comprehend but to the ordinary Ghanaian, that is what has become
the everyday English used mostly in everyday conversations.
While these plethora of words, expressions
and phrases are used understandably among Ghanaians and foreigners living in
the country, they leave new foreigners pondering considering that the meanings
are not always implicit.
After all, just as some of the Queen’s
English were either derived or borrowed from French, so have Ghanaians explored
their linguistic creativity to come up with these phrases.
