Wanlov Kubolor Rejects Armed Robbery In The Murder Of Popular Ghanaian Artiste Manager

Controversial Afro-Gypsy artiste, Wanlov the Kubolor, has in a tweet expressed doubt over suggestions that slain Ghanaian artiste manager, Fennec Okyere, might have been a victim of an armed robbery gone haywire.
Kubolor is not ruling out foul play in the murder, still under investigation.

The shooting of Fennec Okyere, the outspoken manager of Ghana’s Hip Life musician, Kwaw Kese, on Thursday dawn, has cast a chill over the country’s showbiz industry.
The 30-year-old Okyere is reported to have been shot dead, at his residence at Mannet Cottage in Accra, by unidentified assailants, in what is being linked to threats he received over his tussle with Ghana’s Musician Union.
Neighbours claim to have heard struggles at about midnight in his house where he lived alone since the wife is currently staying with her mother to nurse their newly born child.
Neighbours, according to some close friends who visited the house, found his body in a pool of blood in his bedroom early Thursday morning.
Players in the showbiz industry and fans of Kwaw Kese, an artiste managed by the late Okyere, were stunned by the news, taking to social media with an outpouring of tweets in reaction to Fennec’s death Leading a pack of tributes, Kwaw Kese, who was said to have broken down in tears upon visiting the deceased’s home Thursday morning tweeted a photo of his manager wishing him a peaceful eternal rest.


Radio presenter Abeiku Santana who could not come to terms with the reality of his once Personal Assistant, expressed shock in a tweet.



Ghana’s musical satirist, A – Plus, who was among the deceased’s close friends, pronounced the incident as “gruesome” in his tweet.


Ghana’s rap star, Sarkodie, could also not hide his shock, tweeted to describe the world as a “wicked” place.




Sexy Afro pop songstress, Becca, who was close to the deceased shared on twitter, she would miss that “piercing voice” of Fennec.


Celebrity blogger, Ameyaw Debrah, tweeted how he enjoyed every moment he shared with the deceased.


Chief Executive of Pidgin Music, Panji Anoff, appeared troubled and confused in his tweet.
